Framing is still a challenge, but I’m getting better. The Sky Screamer was the easiest, it happen to fit this frame and mat I found at a resell shop without having to re-size anything. The Austin Pillar frame was too large and I had to cut it down. My new saw made this easier and the 45 degree corners are getting closer to true 45 which makes the frame come together without as much putty in the corners to cover the mistakes. But my favorite method is still making it from boards. Like with the Trail Boss here, Cedar is fantastic to work with and the English Oak stain really brings out all those wonderful knot holes for that rustic feel, a perfect compliment to the horse and rider.
